About this expedition

The Great Uganda, stretched to nine days and woven through with culture. Travelling by road in a private safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide, you track rhinos at Ziwa, watch the Nile at Murchison Falls, explore Tooro Kingdom heritage around Fort Portal, cruise the Kazinga Channel, meet the salt miners of Lake Katwe and finish in the Ankole country around Lake Mburo. Along the way, pre-arranged, community-led performances, storytelling and food bring each region to life, from drummers and dancers at Murchison to Tooro music in Fort Portal and a Signature Ugandan Cultural Night by Lake Mburo. The last day is yours for Kampala's crafts and culture before your flight.
