Bwindi Forest Lodge
Nestled on the edge of the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, this eco-lodge offers comfortable rooms, breathtaking rainforest views, and the perfect base for unforgettable gorilla trekking adventures.

Starting Price
Two days with the mountain gorillas, in two different corners of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. From Kampala or Entebbe you drive west with an Equator photo stop and lunch in Mbarara, reaching Bwindi in the evening. Your first trek starts from the Buhoma area, after which you transfer to the Rushaga sector in southern Bwindi and settle into a new lodge. Day three is a second trek in Rushaga, looking for a different habituated family, with the afternoon free to rest, take a nature walk or visit a neighbouring community. Lodges range from budget to luxury, and gorilla permits are secured in advance, subject to availability.
Included as standard with this package.

Your driver-guide meets you at your pick-up point in Kampala or Entebbe and briefs you on the safari. Travel west through the countryside, stopping at the Equator for photographs, and have lunch in Mbarara before continuing to Bwindi. It is a long, scenic drive, so we set off early. Arrive in the evening, check in and enjoy dinner. Overnight: Buhoma Community Bandas (budget), Buhoma Haven Lodge (mid-range) or Mahogany Springs Lodge (luxury) Meals: Lunch, dinner
Permits are only included when your quote lists them. This trip needs two permits per traveller, one for each trek, and they must be secured in advance, subject to availability.
