About
Ikorom Safari Lodge is a mid-range accommodation located near Pakwach, just 1 kilometre from Tangi Gate, adjacent to the river banks in Murchison Falls National Park in northern Uganda. The lodge is a few miles from Pakuba Airport and 5 to 6 hours by road from Kampala. The lodge offers grass-thatched cottages with ensuite rooms, hot water bathrooms, and a traditional yet modern feel. Room types include singles, twins, doubles, triples, and family cottages. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner with a choice of continental and African-inspired dishes. The well-stocked bar overlooks the surrounding park landscape, where antelopes, Uganda kobs, zebras, and buffaloes are regularly seen from the terrace. A blue-water swimming pool provides afternoon relief after game drives. The lodge's position gives excellent access to Murchison Falls National Park — Uganda's largest national park — including game drives, Nile boat cruises, and bird watching along the delta.
