About
Acacia Wilderness Lodge is one of a few tourist lodges that blends luxury experiences with pocket-friendly prices — targeting both international visitors and domestic travellers in a way that most lodges in Uganda do not. Located inside Queen Elizabeth National Park, the lodge sits within one of Uganda's richest wildlife ecosystems — home to 95 species of mammals and 612 species of birds. The drive into the park approaching Acacia Wilderness Lodge offers spectacular sunset views across the park's entrance and surrounding landscape. The lodge provides comfortable accommodation with views of the park, a restaurant serving local and continental meals, and direct access to Queen Elizabeth's signature activities: game drives on the Kasenyi Plains, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge, and visits to the Katwe salt-mining community — one of the oldest salt-mining operations in East Africa.
